How to Use EasyDMARC to Install DMARC

Overview
EasyDMARC is an all-in-one solution that helps protect your domain from cyberattacks. The solution focuses on his SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, but it also manages BIMI, giving you more visibility into your domain’s email presence. This solution helps you analyze, generate and manage these records to ensure your emails are delivered as expected.

EasyDMARC was developed to make the domain management process as secure as possible. Hosted DMARC and EasySPF features allow you to change policies without worrying about formatting issues. This makes it easy to configure email sources and apply DMARC policies without the risk of making mistakes.

EasyDMARC as a platform turns the complex and time-consuming process of managing DMARC records into an intuitive and simple process. With EasyDMARC, no technical expertise is required to apply policies (such as p=quarantine and p=deny). This solution ensures that legitimate emails are not suspended or blocked by his DMARC policy.

Feature
DMARC alerts

EasyDMARC allows you to fully customize your notifications to notify you of specific information relevant to your business. Alerts can be triggered as informational, warning, or critical based on the number of DMARC compliant or non-compliant instances that occur within a specified time frame. These notifications also inform you about changes to your SPF or MX records.

DMARC Implementation

Organizations are shielded from Business Email Compromise attacks by the DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) policy, which also enables them to receive DMARC reports from mail service providers. Moreover, DMARC is an email authentication system that enables domain owners to safeguard their email addresses from unlawful usage, often known as email spoofing.

It is a policy that enables the domain holder to inform the recipients of his or her emails of what they must do with unauthenticated emails arriving from the domain. So how do you configure EasyDMARC for DMARC?

DMARC protocol deployment is made simple and user-friendly with EasyDMARC, which also provides tools and capabilities for quick domain monitoring and email infrastructure visualisation.

Use EasyDMARC to configure DMARC
Going through the various DMARC Implementation phases is all it takes to learn how to set up DMARC with EasyDMARC.

  • Identify your domain
The first step in any DMARC implementation project is to identify all domains. This includes all domains used to send email on behalf of a business, domains that look alike or are cousins, and inactive/parked domains.
  • Add domain
To implement DMARC, first register an account with EasyDMARC and add your domain (see screenshot below).

The system automatically will forward you to the Add Domain page after the registration.

The same DMARC record applies to all the domains under one account.

  • Publish the generated DMARC Record in your DNS
Here is an example of a published record in the Cloudflare DNS

This is the only point of interaction with the domain and EasyDMARC. We are always outside our organization’s network perimeter and never change or add to our infrastructure.

  • Analyze DMARC data
You can now collect detailed DMARC reports on the EasyDMARC dashboard. Most importantly, it can take up to 72 hours for DMARC data to appear on your dashboard. Typically, your email service provider will send you his aggregated DMARC report once a day. Additionally, DMARC reports can help you understand your email infrastructure and point out sources that require proper authentication.
